Biodanza comes to Royal Greenwich

"Re-ignite your passion for life with this uplifting dance-based system for personal awareness - all abilities welcome" Held at Greenwich West Community Arts Centre, Main Hall, 141 Greenwich High Road, London, SE10 8JB (near the railway station).

Sessions run between 3.15 for 3.30 to 5.00pm held on the following Saturdays:-

19th May, 16th June, 21st July and 18th August 2012. There is a charge of £5 per session.

The BIG Computer Club

7 sessions of getting to use using computers and technology to have fun, communicate and learn... Each session has a presentation by Paul Clayton from UcandoIT about each session topic, a discussion and some activities. Carers welcome!

16th April – Talking about talking computers: 1-4pm
An Introduction to Thunder and the WebbIE suite. Talking books, internet radio and much more!

23rd / 24th April – Thinking about the simple things: 1-4pm
Getting to deal with technology now we live in a Science Fiction world.. it’s our interests that can be extended with the internet – what are you interested in? Being online can also help you communicate with services and other people, which is becoming a real need as more government services get online.

8th May - Finding the things that matter! : 1-4pm
Using search engines and other tools to get information and anything else you can think of.

14th May - Making yourself known, using social media: 1-4pm
Heard about blogs, internet telephones and Twittering FaceBook? An introduction to using these services.

21st May – Privacy and using an online life: : 1-4pm
An introduction to the many websites providing services which can be useful for being an active citizen, and advice on watching what you do online to keep your privacy.

28th May - Useful websites and other technology
Presenting useful sites for the Visually Impaired , and sharing websites you’ve found. Also a look at other ways of accessing information.
